Computer Aided Drafting and Design Program

TUITION: $9,500

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this program is to offer specialized technical training in computer aided design and drafting that provides the skills necessary for students who are considering a career in residential or commercial construction where engineering documentation is required. The students will obtain the foundation needed for professional growth and the knowledge and skills needed for immediate employment. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to use computer aided design software to prepare detailed working drawings for residential and commercial structures. Students will be prepared for employment in the following occupations:

OCCUPATIONS:
Home Designer, Draftsman, CADD Technician for residential home builders or Commercial Draftsman or CADD Technician for engineering companies, commercial or residential builders.

PREREQUISITE: High School Diploma or GED or demonstrate ability to benefit by scoring a minimum of 200 verbal and 210 on the quantitative on the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test.
